Your experience at Brandi Grooms Photography is designed to feel seamless, elevated, and thoughtfully guided from the moment you book through final delivery.

Clear expectations allow us to protect your time, our time, and the quality of work we’re known for. Please review the policies below before reserving your session.


BOOKING & RETAINERS
All services are subject to availability. Your session date is secured only once your contract is signed and payment is received.

• Collection bookings require a 50% non-refundable retainer.
• À la carte sessions require the session fee paid in full.
• Petite Sessions and any pre-ordered products must be paid in full and are non-refundable.

If payment terms are not fulfilled, services may be canceled and retainers forfeited.


PRICING & PAYMENT POLICY
All pricing reflects the Studio’s current Standard Price List and will be confirmed in your Photography Contract. Pricing is subject to change, and future orders will be fulfilled at the rates in effect at the time of purchase.

• Payment plans are available for qualifying collections and will be detailed in your Photography Contract.
• All balances must be paid in full prior to your session unless otherwise agreed in writing.
• Accepted payment methods include credit card, Venmo, and Zelle.
• Cash is accepted for final balance payments only.
• Complete payment terms, including any installment schedules, will be outlined in your Photography Contract.

CANCELLATIONS & RESCHEDULING

• One complimentary reschedule is permitted within 3 months of the original date with at least 7 days’ notice.
• Less than 7 days’ notice incurs a $250 rescheduling fee.
• No-shows or same-day cancellations require a new session fee to rebook.
• If canceled and not rescheduled, retainers/session fees are forfeited.
• Third-party contractor or location fees are the client’s responsibility.
• Boudoir and Beauty sessions may be reassigned to a friend for a $100 contract reassignment fee. The new client assumes all remaining balances and contractual obligations.

HAIR & MAKEUP
Professional hair and makeup (H&M) is included with all Beauty and Boudoir sessions unless otherwise noted. Branding clients may add H&M as an upgrade.

In-studio sessions require use of our approved artists to ensure consistency and timing. Clients may complete hair and makeup off-site with an artist of their choice.

Hair and makeup artists are independent contractors. Clients are responsible for communicating allergies or sensitivities directly to the artist.


STUDIO CONDUCT, GUESTS & ALCOHOL
The studio is a professional space rooted in trust, comfort, and mutual respect.

• No additional guests unless pre-approved.
• Children are permitted only if being photographed.
• Light celebratory beverages may be allowed at the studio’s discretion.
• The studio reserves the right to end a session without refund if intoxication or inappropriate behavior interferes with safety or professionalism.

ARTISTIC DISCRETION & RETOUCHING
Brandi Grooms Photography retains full creative discretion in image selection, presentation, lighting, posing, and editing.

Clients receive a curated gallery of fully edited images. Raw or unedited files are not released.

Images are professionally edited for polish and consistency, including skin refinement, color correction, and light contouring. Body shape is not altered.


IMAGE VIEWING & TURNAROUND
Viewing appointments and online galleries are delivered approximately 14 business days after your session.

• Appointments may be held in-studio or via Zoom.
• Please allow 1–1.5 hours.
• Virtual appointments must take place in a private, distraction-free setting.
• Same-day reveals are not offered.

SALES TAX, REFUNDS & ORDERS
A 6.625% New Jersey sales tax applies unless shipped outside NJ. Shipping and handling fees apply where applicable.

Due to the commissioned nature of our work, all sales are final. Once payment is received, orders enter production and are non-refundable.

Estimated production timelines (after final approval):

• Prints: 1–2 weeks
• Albums: 2–4 weeks
• Wall art/framed pieces: 3–5 weeks

Orders may be picked up at the studio or shipped for an additional fee.


DIGITAL FILES & ARCHIVING 
Purchased images are delivered via private online gallery or a secure Dropbox folder. Raw files are never released.

Images are archived for a limited time. Clients are responsible for downloading and safely storing all purchased files.


IMAGE USAGE & COPYRIGHT
All images remain the copyright of Brandi Grooms Photography.

Beauty, Boudoir & Maternity:

• Includes personal-use license only. Images may be used for personal printing and personal social media. Commercial or monetized use requires written permission and separate licensing.

Headshots & Personal Branding:

• Includes limited commercial-use license for the individual or business photographed. Images may be used for websites, marketing, advertising, and press. Images may not be sold, transferred, or used by third parties without written permission.

Unauthorized use violates federal copyright law.


MODEL RELEASE & PRIVACY
Beauty & Personal Branding:

• Unless otherwise agreed in writing, images may be used for portfolio, website, marketing, publication, and educational purposes. Written confidentiality requests must be submitted and approved prior to your session.

Boudoir & Maternity:

• Clients complete a privacy preference form prior to the session. No images are shared publicly without documented consent.

EDUCATION OFFERINGS
Workshops, courses, and digital products are non-refundable and intended for individual use only unless otherwise stated. Materials may not be shared or redistributed.
