This month’s collaboration with my friends Jan Murphy and Mallory Zenner for BeautyxBracelets was all about Amethyst – a deep sultry and sexy purple that is perfect to transition to cooler months.

For the shoot, we decided to go futuristic and Mallory styled a dark wig into a future forward bob that was all about clean lines and blunt angles. The edgy look was then complimented by Jan’s makeup. Jan chose to do an exaggerated smokey eye with the deep jewel tone and set the eyes off by pairing a red lip for a very glamorous look.

Finally, this slip from Sweetest Sin was the perfect sexy and glam piece to finish the look.

To further the futuristic feel of the shoot, I played with the lighting adding blue and purple hues.
