Gone are the days where blue eye shadow is synonymous with the 80s or over the top electric blue all the way to your eye brows (looking at you Mimi Bobeck) – and we’re looking to a more modern twist on this bold color. Using the pantone navy peony we channeled modern moods for this BeautyxBracelets collaboration.

Makeup artist, Jan Murphy, used a navy liquid liner, medium toned powder on the lid and a bright blue on the inner corners to give this classic look an edge.

Hairstylist, Mallory Zenner, created a futuristic 40s updo to compliment the timelessness of the look!

For styling we took a classic silhouette that highlighted the overall theme of the shoot.
