What is a Petite Session?

Every year I host 2 events (in the Spring and Fall), each with a limited number of session spots available. The sessions are fun, flirty, and sexy 30 minute beauty or boudoir sessions with one outfit.

 

What is the difference between a boudoir & a beauty session

 

Beauty sessions (or glamour sessions) focus more on fashion and portrait style images. You can see a full gallery of my beauty work here.

Boudoir sessions are a little more risqué… showing more skin by either wearing lingerie and/or posing topless, nude or with implied nudity. It is totally up to you and your level of comfort as to how much skin you show.  You can view a full gallery of my boudoir work here.

 

 

Where will the session take place?

Petite Session Events are held at the boutique hotel, Blue Bay Inn, in Atlantic Highlands. I have a great rapport with them, and absolutely love it as a shooting location.

 

What should I wear?

Personal style is, well, just that… personal! I would love to have a vast wardrobe of glamorous dresses, sleek designer pants that hug and accentuate all the right curves, and the most luxurious lingerie to show off once the layers are shed, for my clients to choose from. However, my clients vary greatly in age, body type, and most definitely style. I recommend anything that makes you feel sexy and confident. That, of course, will differ from one woman to the next. Which is why each client is to provide her own attire for her session.

I highly suggest a proper fitting and professional assistance in your boudoir and beauty outfit selections. Properly fitted attire plays an extremely important role in both how you feel and the end result of your images.  I can’t recommend Sweetest Sin Boutique enough to my clients for all of their lingerie and undergarment needs. Their selection is amazing, ranging in price points that meet most budgets, and their service and styling assistance is discreet, honest, and fashion forward. Aside from going to the mall or your favorites local boutique for your beauty selections and accessories, there are a number of online resources that allow you to rent dresses in varying sizes. Rent The Runway and Lending Luxury are a great place to start.

What to expect?

I love what I do, and truly believe that every woman deserves to feel beautiful. I want your experience with me to be empowering, invigorating and full of self love. When you arrive for your session expect a fun, open minded, no-judgement atmosphere. I’ll have some tunes playing and a little bubbly for you (if you wish). If you need advice on your outfit, I will help you with that and any accessories. From there, we have a full 30 minutes for you to play, pose, dance, and feel glamorous. Don’t worry about feeling awkward or nervous. I will guide you through the whole session showing you exactly what I want you to do, how I want you to pose, and making you laugh along the way.

 

What about hair & makeup? 

 

 

 

 

 

 

 

 

 

I highly recommend professional hair and makeup. My fabulous team of stylists can always be added on to your Petite Session for an additional fee. If you choose to have your hair and makeup done elsewhere, please make an appointment with those service providers leaving enough time for travel to arrive slightly early for your session. Keep in mind that outside hair and makeup services have a tendency to run late. So, to make sure that you have enough time, I ask that when scheduling your appointments you leave some wiggle room between all of your appointments for any delays . I want you fresh, stress free and feeling good ; )

 

What happens after the session?

When you book your session we will also book a viewing and ordering appointment for 2 weeks following the event. This is where you will view all of your edited images and place your product order.

 

What are the product options?

I offer a full array of exquisite products such as framed and un-framed fine art prints, couture albums, portfolio boxes, print folios and much more. I will have a few of the product samples with me at the event. All others can bee seen at your viewing and ordering session.
