This month’s BeautyxBracelets collaboration with makeup artist, Jan Murphy, and hairstylist, Mallory Zenner, was all about this festive season using the pantone color Shaded Spruce.

Jan took the universally flattering teal, with blue undertones shade and created a fun and flirty makeup look that is perfect for holiday soirees. She used a shadow to create an almost smokey eye look and then added glitter and rhinestones to make it all about the season of fun parties!

Mallory went for a over the top hair style that was all about volume and drama. The up-do featured knots, a braid wrapping around and was asymmetrical giving an avant-garde feel to the overall look.

We kept the styling simple with a soft brown dress pulled in with a belt so we didn’t take away from the dramatic hair and makeup and then later added feathery pom-poms to the hair style to take the whole look to the next level.

I used a soft and glittery background offset by twinkle lights that conveyed a festive and fun atmosphere at first…but then it was time to soften the focus with some fog and add a darker background making it feel mysterious, but still festive.
